Rodd sideboard

Beautiful and very rare teak sideboard by Conrad Rodd. Rodd started his furniture business in Clayton Victoria after escaping Nazi Germany on the HMT Dunera in 1940. 
Features 3 drawers including one lined with felt for cutlery, 3 drop front cabinets with internal shelf and lovely Arne Vodder style wave handles. 
A rare and coveted design which is rarely seen for sale

Excellent condition with stunning teak grain, It has been fully stripped, lightly sanded and refinished in Osmo- an oil and hard wax product in a clear satin finish to enhance the grain. There is a repair to middle inside door as pictured
