Parker is Australia’s most popular and iconic quality mid century furniture makers.

Started in 1935 by Jack Parker and carpenter Alf Dagger the company was originally called Dagger and Parker. They mainly produced kitchen furniture. Alf Dagger left in 1947 and the company was renamed Parker.

It was Jack’s son Tony who had joined the company in 1949 that developed their mid century modern range after travelling and working in Europe. The company became very successful and produced many Iconic pieces during the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s with a Danish modern influence.

Parker furniture was also produced under licence in New Zealand.

Tony Parker along with Covemore Designs has now reissued his classic mid-century furniture.
